The objective of SCAI is to learn and share all about coffee from all countries to improve in all possible aspects from farm to cup. SCAI is also actively involved in organizing seminars and any events that pertain to the world of specialty coffees and for the betterment of the coffee culture in India.

A seed-to-cup comprehensive training on every aspect of coffee, we conduct classes for anyone interested, providing skills training in specialty coffee production and trading.

We are happy to share that it has been a wonderful journey for the past 2 Decades of Scai (Speciality Coffee Association of India), seeing the turbulence and challenges enroute. It was quite satisfying, thanks to the support rendered by the Coffee fraternity as a whole.
Scai has been registered under Society Act 1960 in 2022 which again is a significant milestone.
We observe that Speciality Coffee is going through the 4th wave and we as the association along with other industry partners are gearing up to face this situation as an opportunity.
Our Association has been Grower-centric and we are keen to expand to larger coffee industry partners. From this point of view, we are keen to invite roasters and other industry entrepreneur to be a part of the association –
And to also put Indian Specialities in a Prime place in the world market, as we all know that
Indian specialities are already enjoying a fair place now.
The industry is aware that the recently organised National Barista Championship (India) – 2022 was a roaring success and it is time now to capitalise on this achievement and do many more activities. We as a Team have many exciting ideas for the future. We need more exciting members to execute our thoughts and ideas.
